long does it take to get a pergola delivered?
LEAD TIME: In most cases, our standard pergola can be designed, created, and shipped in less than 60 days. We build standard pergolas on a first-come, first served basis, but custom pergolas take a bit longer. From the time we receive final confirmation of your plans, the clock starts ticking, and it should be in your driveway within 60 days.
PLEASE REALIZE that the prices quoted here are valid only for today; the prices update regularly due to increasing lumber prices. Your quoted price will not be locked-in until we receive your deposit.
How do you ship?
We deliver pergolas in the northeast as far south and Virginia and as far west and Pennsylvania. We charge $1.75 per mile one way. All other pergolas ship via out preferred trucking company: Yellow freight. The pergola get loaded into a custom plywood crate and arrives on a tractor trailer.
Do you install?
We have a professional install crew, but we are limited to CT, NY and MA installations. The rates start at $1000 for a standard pergola of normal size.
Do you build custom pergolas?
All the pergolas we build are custom to your requirements and consist of our standard options. If you require a feature that we don't offer, then explain it in an email and we will do our best to meet your needs.
What if I have special size requirements?
Just indicate your special size requirements in the comments section on the pricing form. We can get your posts to land exactly where you like. Right to the eighth of an inch.
What type of wood and fasteners are you using?
Western Red Cedar and stainless steel screws.
What brand of sealer and stain are you using?
The clear sealer is consumer reports favored product: Olympic Maximum ultra violet blocking wood sealer. Cedar tone. Click here for more information. When we stain a pergola we use Cabot's Problem solver, stain blocking, oil based primer and Cabot's latex double white stain.
