The columns must bolt down to a secure footing such as a deck , concrete footing (shown) or a concrete slab. You can use the our steel plate as a template to locate the anchor bolts.

Bolt all four columns down snug. Lower the lower trim assembly down over the column to cover the plate and bolts.

Screw the top trim assemblies to the bottoms of the entablatures (now done at factory). Using two ladders and a helper, set the beam atop two columns.

The other entablatures are notched to fit flush.


The rafters are notched to fit the entablatures and purlins. The purlins are notched onr thier bottoms to fit the rafters. Screw the purlins down with the 2 1/2 inch screws (included). Plug the heads of the screws with the cedar plugs (optional). .
