
The columns must bolt down to a secure footing such as a deck
, concrete footing (shown) or a concrete slab. You can use the our
steel plate as a template to locate the anchor bolts. |

Bolt all four columns down snug. Lower the lower trim assembly
down over the column to cover the plate and bolts. |

Screw the top trim assemblies to the bottoms of the
entablatures (now done at factory). Using two ladders and a helper,
set the beam atop two columns. |

The other entablatures are notched to fit flush. |

The rafters are notched to fit the entablatures and purlins.
The purlins are notched onr thier bottoms to fit the rafters. Screw
the purlins down with the 2 1/2 inch screws (included). Plug the
heads of the screws with the cedar plugs (optional). .
