Use the site plan and a tape measure to get the exact location of each column. Align the steel plate so it's square to the house. Use a 3/8 concrete drilling bit to mark the concrete by drilling through the holes in the steel plate.
"We love our house and greatly enjoy the pergola. Every evening is spent under our new outdoor room that the pergola has created. A few photographers have already approached us for use in magazines, I think we will wait until all work has been completed and when the landscape grows in more.
