Upon making an order for a pergola from
Baldwin Pergolas, Max and his Baldwin Team will work closely
with you to make sure you've decided on the right footings,
as they depend on the type of mounting surface on which your
pergola will stand.
Also, we'll work with you to help you know
how to prepare your site for pergola installation.
During the manufacturing process, Max Baldwin
will send you CAD drawings and a site plan that you can use
to prepare your site. Essentially, you will need to clean
or complete your patio, deck, or yard space. Then, you will
use the site plan to measure and mark the locations for the
center each post or column.
You will most likely need a laser level
to determine the precise height measurements of your pergola.
Such a device is not complicated to use and can be rented
or purchased at your local Home Depot or Lowes store.
Upon shipping or delivery, Max Baldwin and
his Baldwin Team will send to you complete custom instructions
that outline the necessary tools/supplies needed, lists the
hardware we include, and explain the steps for installation.
These instructions are easy to read and are tailored to your
pergola!
The Site Prep section is being re-vamped. Please check back on May 30th, 2008.
