These assembly instructions are for building a Post & Beam pergola with its posts set in concrete.

Tools & Materials Needed	Hardware included w/ the pergola
marking tape or string two or three 25-ft measuring tapes one framing square one or two power screw drivers a 12x12 or larger moving blanket (to protect the cedar from ground scratches two rubber mallets a 4-inch x 4-inch wood block an appropriate length light-duty extension cord two 6-8 ft. ladders 8” inch diameter Sono tubing concrete mix	Wooden plugs Tite Bond glue (for wooden plugs) 2.5-inch screws with square heads 3-inch screws with square heads one long square bit

Please note that these instructions correspond with the site plan, which is packed with the assembly hardware in the shipping crate.

STEP 5: INSTALL THE RAFTERS AND PURLINS
